Glyn Whitelam
Managing Director
40 years’ experience, having been fascinated by the various processes of dewatering and groundwater control. Extensive international project experience, hands-on across operations and project delivery. “The company is like a little family. We look after people.”
Mark Baldwin
Technical Director
30+ years’ experience in pump, dewatering, design and installation, UK and internationally.
Mark has experience running various successful companies. Meticulous and technically excellent. “I am inspired by the range and diversity of our specialist, bespoke projects. Often permanent dewatering, from design to completion.”
Andrew Collier
Site Operations Director
From site operator, site manager to director, Andy spends most of his time on site. He builds close working relationships, responding immediately to clients’ exact needs, providing hassle free solutions. “Every job is complex in its own way. Communication is key. If someone needs us, we help.”
Chris Goodson
Sales Director
37 years’ experience. Started in the field. Project managed the largest, most sophisticated automated groundwater control & dewatering system ever installed on a landside construction site. “I am enjoying being part of a growing company.”
David Hollinshead
Workshop Director
45 years’ experience, started when Glyn set up Alba. Looks after plant, pumps, specialist engineering. “We do the job correctly, first time. We have so much knowledge between us, which we pass on. The staff are the best.”
Dan Terzza
Operations Director
An experienced operator, site supervisor, QEHS*, transport, and operations manager. Dan has vast engineering and organisational skills, from an armed forces background. “Every day is different” managing procurement, projects, staff, and day to day running of the company.
Tiffany Earp
Corporate Services Director
Joined Alba in 2022 as an administrator, was promoted to office manager in 2024 and to Corporate Services Director in 2026. Tiffany, who has worked very hard, says, “Alba is a great place to work, to be recognised and appreciated.”
